[2013] EWCA Crim 2225

A sentence of two months' imprisonment was appropriate in the case of an offender who had pleaded guilty to doing an act tending and intended to pervert the course of justice by indirectly contacting his ex-partner in breach of bail conditions prohibiting him from doing so. There was strong mitigation and the offence was an unsophisticated one.
