A nine month custodial element of an extended sentence was manifestly excessive given the nature of the offence of indecent assault and the defendant's plea of guilty. The extended licence period of two years was not wrong in principle and not manifestly excessive in light of the defendant's previous convictions and his predilection to the type of offences committed.
