An historic conviction for murder was unsafe where the prosecution had failed to disclose to a defendant that allegations of police misconduct had been made against the same police officers in a separate investigation. The evidence of the officers was the only evidence at trial against the defendant and the allegations, whilst untested, went to the issue of bias so that they would have been prepared to implicate him by any means necessary in order to secure a conviction.
