[2007] EWCA Crim 773

When assessing, for the purposes of the Criminal Justice Act 1988 s.71(6)(b), "the amount that might be realised" pursuant to a confiscation order, the judge had been wrong to arrive at figures representing 100 per cent of the value of a joint endowment policy and of a farm in which the defendant and his wife had been living. Figures representing 50 per cent of the relevant values were substituted.
