A solicitor's conviction for perverting the course of justice by assisting a client in making arrangements for perjured evidence to be given on his behalf was safe, given that she had not suffered any material disadvantage from the fact that the client, who was her co-accused, had asserted legal professional privilege in respect of what had passed between them.
