In an appeal against a sentence of four years' imprisonment for one offence of causing death by dangerous driving whilst under the influence of alcohol, whilst the appellant was two-and-a-half times over the legal limit and had been warned by her friends not to drive, the sentence was longer than it needed to be and was accordingly reduced to a term of two years' imprisonment.
