Admitting evidence of an offender's homosexuality had not affected the safety of his conviction for attempted buggery, indecent assault on a male and sexual activity with a child. Any potential prejudice that the evidence might have caused was negated by a strongly-worded direction from the judge detailing the limited purpose for which the evidence could be used.
