[2007] EWCA Crim 1254

The judge had erred in adopting a starting point of 12 years when determining an appropriate sentence of imprisonment with a specified term for public protection for offences relating to indecent images of children. The appropriate starting point was nine years after a trial which when reduced to allow for guilty pleas provided a minimum term of three years.
