A disparity between different sentences passed on defendants involved in the same drugs offences did not exist merely by virtue of the extra term of imprisonment to be served but also by virtue of the fact that the extra term made the appellant a long-term prisoner who was not eligible for release until he had served two-thirds of his sentence.
