[2007] EWCA Crim 779

Whilst a sentence of imprisonment for public protection was appropriate for an attempted robbery where the offender had a previous conviction for robbery, a minimum term of two-and-a-half years after a guilty plea was too long where no weapon had been used and no serious injury caused.
