The trial judge's summing up could not be criticised where he had properly and fairly dealt with the essentials of the case and had given an accurate summing up of the defence and prosecution case in respect of the offender, accused of conspiring to cheat the Revenue. There had been an overwhelming case against the offender, and in the circumstances his conviction was safe.
