[2009] EWCA Crim 3263

Convictions for arranging or facilitating the arrival of a person in the United Kingdom for sexual exploitation, on the basis that the offenders had intentionally caused the person to become involved in prostitution, were unsafe in the light of further evidence obtained post-conviction of the previous involvement of one of the victims in prostitution. The new evidence might reasonably have affected the jury's decision to convict in relation to both victims, as the cases were inter-connected, not independent.
