[2013] EWCA Crim 1540

The convictions for unlawful act manslaughter of four participants in a burglary of a remote vehicle repair business in which the business owner died, having been hit or run over by at least one vehicle used by the burglars, were safe. The burglary was foreseeably dangerous from the outset due to the risk of somebody intervening to prevent escape, the use of vehicles, and the nature and geography of the site. It did not become dangerous only at the point at which the owner intervened.
