In cases where the evidence against an offender charged with firearm-related conspiracies covered the whole chain of criminal conduct from manufacture to sale and to holding possession for future distribution to criminals; and the overall seriousness and range of the individual counts called for a higher sentence than that permitted for any one of them considered on its own, the sentencer should reflect that seriousness by consecutive sentences.
