[2001] EWCA Crim 1213

Evidence of undercover police officers, where it was alleged they had been acting as agents provocateurs, would not be excluded in circumstances where they had done no more than give the accused an opportunity to break the law, which they had freely taken. This judgment should be read in conjunction with the decision in Attorney-General's Reference (No.3 of 2000) (2001) LTL 18/5/2001.
