It was not disproportionate to extradite a Polish national so that he could serve a sentence of imprisonment imposed for theft, despite the fact that he was still awaiting a decision on an application he had made to the Polish President for clemency on the basis that he had established a life in the United Kingdom with his ill wife and children.
