QC urges rethink on detainees
PUBLISHED October 6, 2004The home secretary and parliament got it wrong in deciding they could lock up foreign nationals suspected of terrorism indefinitely without trial while allowing British terrorism suspects full legal protections, nine law lords were told yesterday.
