Police wasting time on costly CPS hotline
PUBLISHED May 28, 2015Police are unable to do their frontline duties because of long delays in getting through to a Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) telephone hotline where lawyers are paid up to £2.4 million a year for out-of-hours work.
