Prison Service officials have moved to calm fears a high-security jail is to be built in east Leeds.

The residents' association in Garforth has called a public meeting on Monday at which local people are expected to express their concerns.
But a spokesman for the Prison Service said Garforth is just one of 300 places across the country being looked at as possible prison sites.
