MSPs approve early release plan
PUBLISHED June 17, 2005A bill which would allow prisoners out of jail if they agree to be tagged and remain in their home or place of work has been approved by MSPs.
The scheme would see low-risk prisoners released up to 135 days early if they agreed to the home detention curfew.
