LUKE ROBINSON v CROWN PROSECUTION SERVICE (2011)

In a criminal trial, a judge's failure to use the precise wording of the Practice Direction issued in connection with the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 s.35 when advising an unrepresented defendant of his right to give evidence did not necessarily render the trial so unfair as to amount to an abuse of process.
