Lack of inmates forces closure of high-security prison unit

Britain's highest security prison unit has been mothballed after its four serving inmates had their risk assessments downgraded.

The gangland criminal Kenneth Noye and three other prisoners at the special secure unit at Whitemoor, Cambridgeshire, have been moved to other cells after the prison authorities decided they no longer required such strict security.
