[2013] UKSC 48

The Supreme Court allowed an appeal against extradition on the basis of allegations of systematic judicial corruption in Albania which would deny the appellant his right to a fair trial in that country. Widespread allegations of corruption had to be taken seriously and warranted closer examination of the evidence before a final decision was made concerning extradition.
