Judges may defer European warrants if prison conditions 'inhumane'
PUBLISHED April 11, 2016The Court of Justice of the European Union has ruled that judges must defer executing a European arrest warrant if there is a real risk of inhuman or degrading treatment arising from detention conditions in the member state seeking extradition.
