From Dickens to digital – the courts join the IT revolution
PUBLISHED January 15, 2015They are stuck in a Dickensian timewarp, with bundles of paper and a pace often reminiscent of Jarndyce v Jarndyce. Now, magistrates are joining the IT revolution to speed up trials — and within months will handle cases on iPads or other tablets in place of paper.
