Where opposing traffic had stopped in order for a motorist to turn right, that motorist had to proceed with utmost care and not proceed to cross the carriageway until he had put himself in a position where he was satisfied that no traffic was likely to come up on the inside of the opposing traffic. The driver of a car had failed to take such care and the judge had been entitled to find him 50 per cent liable for a collision with a motor scooter.
