CRM14 online form extended to more courts in the North East and Essex

We have just rolled out the CRM14 crime application eForm to 19 more courts in the North East and five courts in Essex, listed on our crime eForms page .  This follows a successful, initial roll-out to nine courts in the North East in April 2013.

Try out the new eForm?

We invite providers in these areas to try out the new eForm ? initial feedback has been generally positive with providers finding it easy to use.  Benefits include:

  • you are already familiar with the technology we?re using
  • you have instant access to the DWP link
  • you only need to complete minimal info for applications to get date stamped
  • you don?t have to keep as much paperwork on file
  • you?ll receive immediate communications on queries and the overall outcome and, generally,
  • there is a reduced number of rejected applications because of the way the form has been designed.

When can you use the eForm?

Use is voluntary in the pilot areas.

The eForm works for applications where no evidence is required when you submit the form.

You must be ?on-line? to complete and submit the eForm - either in your office or wherever there is wifi or 3G.

Are you rolling out to other areas?

We want to review how the eForm works in the extended area first. If it works well, we aim to roll-out nationally later this year.
