Barred from voting for a good reason

The idea of prisoners voting in elections is repellent to most Britons. Parliament has voted against the idea; the Supreme Court has dismissed prisoners' appeals. Yet more than 1,000 British criminals are still bringing a legal challenge to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) over the ban. Some people cannot take a straightforward "no" as an answer.
