[2001] EWCA Crim 1923

A sentence of 18 months' imprisonment for the first respondent for false imprisonment in a domestic context was unduly lenient and was substituted with a term of three years' imprisonment. A sentence of nine months' imprisonment for the same offence imposed on the second respondent was also unduly lenient, but was not interfered with as the respondent had been released under the tagging provisions.
