PUBLISHED January 31, 2006A determined minimum term of one year and three months' imprisonment following a life sentence for the rape of a girl aged fourteen years was unduly lenient given the age of the victim and the defendant's related antecedents. A minimum term of two years and six months' imprisonment was substituted.
