[2002] EWCA Crim 1768

On: (i) a charge under s.3 Forgery and Counterfeiting Act 1981; and (ii) a charge under s.17(1)(b) Theft Act 1968, where the accused had used a false instrument or furnished false information with a view to obtaining money or other property, it was not necessary for the prosecution to prove that the accused had no legal entitlement to the money or other property in question.
