[2011] EWHC 1894 (Admin)

Two newspapers were ordered to pay £15,000 each in damages for the publication of an incriminating photograph in their online papers that had not been cropped or sufficiently cropped. No damage had ensued from their error, but it was an avoidable error and it had created a risk. The newspapers were also required to pay the costs in full, summarily assessed.
