Arguments for and against the use of TV cameras in English and Welsh courts is to begin on Monday, as a government consultation paper is published.

A trial installation of cameras will also begin this week, in the Court of Appeal in the Royal Courts of Justice in London. They will film criminal appeals and civil cases.
The Lord Chancellor has said there is a strong case for filming appeals, which rarely involve witnesses.
