If evidence that was admissible under the Criminal Justice Act 2003 s.101(1)(g) was not admissible under s.101(1)(d), which would have thus entitled the judge to give a propensity direction, the judge's direction should make the jury understand that the evidence only went to credibility and the jury should not consider that it showed a propensity to commit the offence it was considering, at least if there was a risk that it might do so.
