Sentences of six and nine years' imprisonment were appropriate in the case of two offenders who had violently robbed a vulnerable man in his own home. Although both offenders had significant criminal records, the first had extensive personal mitigation, had entered an early guilty plea, and had not been involved in inflicting violence on the victim.
