[2012] EWCA Crim 2798

In sentencing an offender to five-and-a-half years' imprisonment following a guilty plea to an offence of conspiracy to supply a Class A drug, a judge had failed to sentence on the basis of an accepted and specific basis of plea. Considering that basis of plea, it had not been open to him to identify the offender as having a role at the upper end of the relevant sentencing guideline.
