A magistrates' court was entitled to rely upon its own knowledge of the appropriate procedures to be carried out for the taking of a blood sample from a suspected drunk driver that had been set out within a booklet and relied upon by the arresting officer to refresh his memory when asked whether he had complied with the necessary requirements.
