[2012] EWHC 842 (Admin)

A district judge had erred in not ordering the adjournment, under the Extradition Act 2003 s.91(3)(b), of an extradition hearing in relation to a husband's extradition to South Africa to face murder charges relating to the death of his wife on their honeymoon. The agreed psychiatric evidence was that he was suffering from severe post-traumatic stress disorder and depression such that his extradition at the present time would be unjust and oppressive.
