A minimum term of 18 years' imprisonment to be served by an offender convicted of murder was quashed and a term of 15 years substituted where it was not possible to say on the evidence that premeditation in respect of the count of murder, which was taken into account by the trial judge as an aggravating feature, had been proved to the criminal standard.
