A confiscation order for £64,402 made following a conviction for an offence of conspiracy to keep a brothel was quashed and replaced with an order for £28,200 where, in calculating the amount of the order, the judge had erred by wrongly equating turnover with benefit given the available evidence of the payment system employed at the premises.
