[2012] EWCA Crim 1395

The circumstances were not unusual enough to justify a disqualification from driving for life where an offender had been convicted of dangerous driving after driving a vehicle at speed through the living room wall of his former girlfriend's house while she and her children were in it. The disqualification was reduced to a term of five years.
