[2013] EWCA Crim 1308

The court rejected the appeals of three family members against convictions connected with the trafficking of a child into the United Kingdom for the purposes of forced labour and the making of false benefit claims on her behalf. The offenders had made meritless criticisms of a number of aspects of the case, including the conduct of "achieving best evidence" interviews, and the judge's handling of an issue concerning the jurors' ability to properly discharge their function.
