Where the Crown Court had shown mercy in quashing a disqualification from driving imposed in respect of a motorist who had pleaded guilty to a road traffic offence, it was entitled to refuse to make a defendant's costs order in the motorist's favour notwithstanding that he had been successful in his appeal against disqualification.
