When Italy's highest court last week found Amanda Knox and her ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito guilty of the 2007 murder of 21-year-old Meredith Kercher, the victim's family were, as ever, quietly dignified in their response. Their lawyer called the verdict "justice for Meredith and her family", while Stephanie Kercher, Meredith's sister, said, "I think we are still on a journey to the truth and it may be the fact that we don't ever really know what happened that night".
