A plea and case management hearing remained such a hearing notwithstanding the fact that a guilty plea was entered at the hearing. Further, there was no justification for the contention that, for the hearing to be regarded as a plea and case management hearing for the purposes of the Criminal Defence Service (Funding) Order 2001, there had to be some triable issue other than issues relating to sentence between the prosecution and defence at the end of the hearing.
