Where there were allegations that solicitors had acted in conflict of interest in making loans from a client's trust fund, including an allegation of dishonesty, it was for the Solicitors Regulation Authority to prove the allegation of dishonesty to a criminal standard through the application of the two-step test laid down in Twinsectra Ltd v Yardley [2002] UKHL 12, [2002] 2 A.C. 164.
