In committal proceedings for contempt, a Kazakh national bank failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt that a Russian director of an English company had deliberately lied in sworn statements which he had provided in response to disclosure orders that had been made in the context of substantive proceedings alleging dishonest assistance in breaches of fiduciary duty.
