Duty Solicitor Call Centre and CDS Direct

The LSC confirmed on 12 February 2007 that we will consult on the expansion of the Duty Solicitor Call Centre (DSCC) and Criminal Defence Service Direct (CDS Direct) in March 2007.

This consultation will set out the principles behind expansion and provide an overview of how the new system would operate.

CDS Direct tendering exercise

While the consultation is running we intend to continue with some stages of the CDS Direct tendering process. The key dates are in the table below.
