Provider payment runs ? changes to the production of remittance advices

As part of the LAA?s weekly payment run we send remittance advice slips (RAs) to providers.

Currently, if transactions for the week produce the net effect of zero (nil payment), no payment is made to the provider and a remittance advice slip will not be sent. This happens on a very limited number of occasions.

Following feedback from providers and representative bodies, we have changed this process. Remittance advice slips will now be sent out in all instances. This means that providers will be notified each week whether they received an actual payment or a nil payment.
