Blair promotes law and order plan

Tony Blair is due to outline Labour's five-point plan for law and order later, with a promise of new controls on the sale of knives and replica guns.

The prime minister and Home Secretary Charles Clarke are also expected to set out plans for drug testing during parole for some offenders.
They will repeat a pledge to recruit more community support officers.
